Default AD Medication & Pregnancy

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. Also on medication.

Is there anyone else here in the same situation.

My doctor recogmends that I stay on the medication.

Just makes me quite anxious about the long term affects.

It depends on the medication, and the dosage. Some are safe, some aren't.

I stayed on Lexapro 10 mg when pregnant with Maya but the reason she came early was NOT due to the medication. I also had a good friend stay on it with 2 of her children and both came out A-Ok. I think it depends on the medication, the dosage and the doctor.

I am actually taking 50 mg of luvox.

My anxiety is getting worse so I don't really know what to do.

It does depend on the med. But if your doc seems to want you to keep on it, I would trust that. I haven't been pregnant however two of my best friends who were both on long term meds were. One of them had a doc who said it could be more harmful to come off meds while pregnant. I guess it all depends. Both of them delivered healthy and happy babies though!
