Talking addicted to Food Network !

I LOVE the food network I can watch it all day if I get the chance- I don't really cook any of the stuff they make on there but I just love to watch it and think about how good all that food looks - is it just me or does anyone else do this! GO Rachel Ray!

I used to type all the show transcriptions for FOOD 911! Is that show still around?

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.

Every once in a while I catch Food 911. I love the Food Network as well. Major addict here. Thank goodness we have 3 tv's in our house or DH and I would drive each other crazy fighting over the tv. I love to watch Rachel Ray as well and I have made a couple of her recipes. I always say someday I'll have a really nice kitchen to cook those fabulous recipes in.

Alton Brown rocks! Go Good Eats! I love that guy.

Rachael is okay too, but her "EVOO" thing drives me batty. Unwrapped is cool too.

Hubby and I both enjoy Alton Brown. That man is so interesting.

The "EVOO" thing wouldn't bother me so much if she stopped saying, "I'll just add some EVOO, some extra virgin olive oil." Why call it EVOO if you're going to use the full name anyway?

Here in Canada we have a few shows featuring a chef named Michael Smith. First there was the Inn Chef, where he cooked in an inn in PEI. Then there was Chef At Large, where he traveled the country seeking interesting food experiences (like a native potlatch, hospital food at a Jewish hospital, an Indian wedding, a cruise ship...) and now he has Chef at Home where he cooks real, normal food from his home, encouraging others to cook without a recipe and be inspired by the ingredients. He's fantastic.

Tyler Florence(food911) - Yummy

Okay - I love watching food tv - but I love to watch food 911 because of Tyler - there is something crazy sexy about a man who loves food that much! Dang!

I can watch Rachel Ray endlessly - the evoo thing gets to me after awhile to, but I love her stories.

DH always asks me why she has to clarify the EVOO thing - I'll never understand it myself. I do love Alton Brown as well - you can't help but learn something from him. DH does like Unwrapped sometimes - it's interesting to go behind the scenes of how some things are packaged, developed and such.

I got to watch all his tv videos before I did the transcriptions!! I'll second the "yummy" label! Have you seen his fiance/wife (haven't watched it in a while)

I have not seen anyone in specific - so I am not sure. Since he is always at a "different" location, I am not sure if I have seen her. One lucky woman. My DH is not into food at all, so I live vicariously watching Tyler enjoy his!

His fiance was in the majority of his "holiday" themed shows...specifically, he had a two hour long Thanksgiving one last year I believe? Anywho....she's even more beautiful than he is!

Next time you watch his show...count how many times he says "okay"....

OMG - how funny - I can actually hear him saying Okay in my head when you said that! I saw the big holiday show where all the hosts came together for dinner and then had seperate shows for how they made their meal, but I do not remember her. Man, she must be pretty, but I think it is the way that he enjoys himself that gets to me. You do not usually see people that "into" something - I think it is why I watch Rachel Ray also, but she does not make as good of a "Yummy" face as he does. I can just sit and watch him eat!

I love anything food when I watch TV.

I actually got stuck in a hotel for the president's day weekend blizzard a couple years ago, and I watched food network the whole time...

I agree on Yummyness of Tyler- Bobby Flay has grown on me too. At first I was like he is butt ugly but like someone else said about Tyler, Bobby has something about him that is sexy to me- maybe it is his cockyness or that he is laid back sorta- Rachel's whole EVOO thing baffels me too. Have you noticed that she is trying to use others like "put this in my old GB my garbge bowl" anyway I'm just glad to know that I am not the only Food tv junkie! By the way I have looked at their website atleast 50 times and only used 1 recipe from it!

I love Food Network! My hubby and I can lay around all weekend and watch only that channel! We love Iron Chef and Iron Chef American and Emeril Live....ok, so that is just a few of the ones that we love! HA! Hubby also likes Alton Brown's show. I'm glad we aren't the only ones addicted! Yippee!
