Hello,

Does anyone here take Adipex-P? My PCP prescribed half a tablet daily for a few weeks to help with weight loss. It is basically Phenteramine Chloride (sp?).
Any advice/experience would be appreciated.

I haven't filled my 'scrip yet, I'm a little nervous about taking it. I'm also on 500mg of Met. I get my periods fairly regularly, so don't need a higher dose.

yes i take a whole adipex pill 37.5mg.
i also take Metformin.
i have taken it before back in 2005/2006 and lost 50lbs. then i gained it all back when i got pregnant

it works well, just dont take it after 1... youll be up all night.

My Dr. just perscribed phentermine for me cause I am having a hard time losing weight. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how it works and if it would make me sleepless. i tried Meridia for a bit and i barely slept on it. If it does have the same effect does anyone have advice on how to help relive it?

This is my first month taking Adipex and so far I haven't had any negative side effects. I asked my Dr. for it after seeing other ladies in my office use it in conjunction with some exercise in to lose weight. I also take Met and Flutamine. We are starting with a 1/2 a pill a day after breakfast to start this month. Sometimes it works to well however, and I forget to eat. Has helped with my sugar cravings.

I take Phenteramine myself, the first month I lost 6lbs and I only took it the first 2 weeks and still lost, now that I am back on track I am surious as to how much I have lost this month it doens't look good I have been bad maybe my system has gotten used to it. I can still push away the plate when mentally knowing I am full/done. I am also on CLA that is a fat fighter and makes you lose inches and I tell you what I am losing the inches big time!!! My pants are so baggy on me I find myself pulling them up, now if only it can warm up so I can go walking!!!!
