I had banding done about a month ago, and i have lost just short of 10 kilos. I CAN'T recomend it enough, girls!!! Look up the "institute of weight control surgery" IWCS run by Dr Brancatisano. He's BRILLIANT. They understand and are very informed about PCOS and they TREAT ALL ASPECTS OF WEIGHT LOSS, including psychological. It is very safe, and recovery is quick.

I had this done 3 years ago. One of the best things I've done in my life Glad to hear that you are doing well with it.

I know another Aussie cyster (Sammie) had it done not long ago too, but haven't seen a post from her in a while.

Annie, i've lost nearly 50kgs but am at a standstil at the moment. Mainly because my hormones are going crazy. Still have a bit left to go, but am very happy with what i've lost so far.
