Me and my darling are about to start the adoption process after no luck ttc#1.
I would love to hear from anyone from New Zealand who has or is adopting or has succesfully adopted. It would just be nice to hear experiances share the journey; also knowing a little what to expect.
We have an information evening to attend but the only spaces left were for the meeting at the end of July.
Congratulations on your decision!! I can't really say much to help as I don't know anything about adoption in this country... but just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and your partner.. best of luck and I really hope things turn out the way you want them to!!!
Take Care!!

We really are so excited, I know this is early days but I cant wait, as my darling points out it's just the beginning of a long journey he is excited too but I think he get's a little worried that I will get down if I feel like we arnt moving quick enough lol.... he keep's me grounded
Congrats on your decision, and I wish you all the best in your new journey! Sounds like you have a wonderful supportive hubby to go through this with too!

Hi gg!
I'm sorry that ttc has been an uphill battle......but I'm really excited to hear that you are starting the adoption process. I don't have any feedback, only encouragement......I hope everything falls into place for you and you have your baby soon.
Take Care
I'm sorry to hear that ttc has been such an uphill battle for you. Adoption is a good option - good on you for taking the next step.
I don't know if this is of any help. My sister and her DH have been right through the adoption process. It's quite a long road unfortunately. However, in the end they fostered a newborn baby for a year and then ended up adopting her. She's now a happy 7 year old !!!
The adoption process can be a long one - so perhaps fostering might be another option for you to look at.
Take care !
