Question Adoption in Ontario

Hey there fellow Canadians!!!

I recently had a failed cycle and I don't know how long I want to wait before considering the adoption option. Does anyone have any information about the wait, procedure, cost, etc to adopt local babies?

I just thought I would start to investigate while I wait to see if AF shows!!
Thanks for your help!!!!

there is a wealth of info on the adoption section, come on over! everyone is very kind and helpfull. i am currently in the process of adopting through ward, but have investigated all the options. the waiting time depends on what you want as does the cost. ward adoption is free, private is about 10,000 and international is about 20,000 to 40,000. what ever you decide it will be right for you, as there is no wrong way, or best way.
if you do private local adoption the birth mother usually picks parents by reviewing prospective parents files. so it could be weeks or years.

Hi and Welcome !

you may want to contact your local Childrens Aid Society. They do domestic for free, but I have been waiting 2 years already for the classes ! :0

Take Care
