Default adrenal suppression test

Started today! I really didn't want to take dexamethasone but the DR practically demanded that I do it! So here I am. NO side effects so far. HUNGRY, though. :-)

I am to take it for 3 days (4 pills twice a day. Once in AM, once in PM). I asked them to verify this several times. It sure did sound like a lot.

Please tell me some positive things about dexamethasone. I'm trying not to freak about taking it.

Default update

I did the adrenal supp. test. and thought I would post the results. My testosterone pre test was 76, post test was 44. They said it was a medium response and that the testosterone is most likely coming from the ovaries. So, dex may not help. They said I could take it if I wanted to but I decided not to.
