I made an appointment with an endocrinologist in January when I suspected I had PCOS. The appointment is not until April 24, but I'm tired of waiting and tired of feeling like this. Do you think it is a good idea to start a cinnamon/vitamin regimen before I go to the endo? I know PCOS doesn't "go away" but I'm worried it will affect any tests they might run.

I agree, you should go in plain 'ol you. Not saying that you shouldn't eat healthy and start a little walking or what not. After the DR tells you to "take two and call me in the morning" then you can start up your herbs! Much love.

I agree. I wouldn't do anything different until you see the endo and possibly go for tests. As previously mentioned, any new supplements could skew your test results. You want to know what's going on without the influence of supplements or meds.

Thank you!
As annoying as it is to wait I guess that is the best choice...*sigh*

I know that this has pretty much already been resolved, but I wanted to put my two cents in! I agree with the other ladies about waiting. Also, they will do blood work, when you have them do thi sfind out for certain if theyre just doing regular blood work or if it should be fastng blood work. I used to be terrible at eating and I'd ALWAYS go to my doc with an accidental fasting thing going and I awlays had the blood drawn right then I belieev that thats been screwing my test results up. While my endo wasnt concerned I have been. Just a thought for you.
