I am about 2 weeks late for AF, have been regular for a year now. I have taken 2 hpt and both were negative. This last week I have been cramping, but not the normal period cramps. They are sharp across the whole abdomain area and last for maybe a minute then they are gone. It happens every hour or so, but never close together. Normally I would have light cramps for about 3 days then AF would show. Also, normally right before AF, my temps would drop to normal for me. I checked every other day for the last few and they have been staying up around 97.5 (norm 96.7). I am so getting tired of this. Friday I called the docs office before noon and I never got a return call. I will have to call again today as I am not home to wait for phone.

Anyone else have a simular experience? What did you do? ARG, I have to be on a short out of town trip to pick up my little sisters on this saturday and didn't want to be having AF at the same time. It sucks!!!!!

I don't know if this will help but before I was diagnosed with PCOS I used to have cramps, etc. (all the PMS symptoms) around the time I expected AF but then it wouldn't come. I would take pregnancy tests which would turn out negative. I really don't know why it happened, but it was annoying! Since I started met my periods have been better, so I haven't had it happen again. Sorry I couldn't help much but hang in there! I hope you hear from the dr. soon!

Still no answer from doc office. I am at work and don't feel like discussing over the phone, lol.

Guess I will have to try tomorrow.

I am on met and that is the reason I have been regular. The cramps I am having are nothing like the ones I had before met or even now with met. My cramps for normal AF are nauseating. I usually get just slight cramping 3 days before and then on day 1 and 2 I am sick. I keep hoping that when I go pee, AF will just show up.
