Just wondering when AF should come after a miscarriage. I am getting anxious waiting for it to get here. Its only been 18days since my miss, but i was just wondering what the average time was.

Shejayd- I was on the Feb mommies board too. Im so sorry for your loss. I am also waiting for AF - i just had my D&C done July 11 - i am gonna start Provera though next week which should bring my AF between Aug 5-10 - so hopefully i can get started again. I hope you too can get started ASAP.

I had 2 m/c's, & now have 2 healthy boys, so don't lose heart
I can't remember how long it took for af to come back after the first m/c, but after my 2nd m/c, which was mid-March, I got pg again at the very start of May -- w/o even having a normal period! The next time I o'd after my m/c I got pg, so that would mean if I hadn't become pg I guess af would have returned mid-May.
I should mention though that my m/c were VERY early, like 5-6 weeks along. So it didn't take long for my body to recover, I didn't need a d&c or anything like that.
My RE had told me to stop ttc after the 2nd m/c so he could do some further testing & see if there was an additional reason why I was m/c-ing. I didn't listen to him b/c I didn't want to waste time... I am SOOOO glad I didn't listen, b/c along came my first son 1.5 months later!!

OMGosh Sheena, I just read some of your blog, & I am so sorry for what you've gone through. You are so strong & have such a positive attitude.
I just wanted to add that my 2 m/c's were chemical pregnancies too I think.
Also, I wasn' sure, are you still on Met? I think Met was the reason I was able to keep my sons (although one of my 2 m/c's did happen on Met also).

Blondieformd- I am sorry you had to go through a D&C,nowo ne should have to feel that pain accompanied by and m/c.
have you started provera yet?? I was thinking of getting some, but i started having cramps today, so hopefully she will show up soon.
Bethany- Thank you for the compliment. I am on Metformin, 1700mg a day, and so far I have had 3 chems and one complete m/c while on it. I think its what helps me get AF every month though. When i started taking it in aug 06 I got AF the very next day, its my miracle drug.
