Default Af After Taking Provera ...
Afternoon,

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how long after taking my last Provera tablet I can expect my AF to arrive? This is my first time taking Provera and so I am not sure what to expect.

Hi there! Of course everyone is different but for most folks it's usually 3-10 days after - Also my doc has said that if I go over the 10 days to call her.

It would usually take me around 10 days after the last pill for AF to arrive.

I have many friends that would start while still taking the provera. Just goes to show everyone is different!

I agree MissMel - Up until last night I had been on 20mg of Provera a day for 21 days and there were several days during this time that I had slight breakthrough bleeding... it's been 24 hrs hours since I stopped taking Provera - I'm already cramping and spotting pretty good (sorry for the TMI)... so most definitely everyone is different.

I just started taking Provera yesterday, I had taken it once before I took it for 7 days then, and AF started 14 days later, and it was really really light (basically spotting for a day) at the same time my DR told me to expect AF 3-10 days after and if it wasn't around by day 12 to give him a call.

In the past when I took Provera AF came 4 days after my last pill. I took 10mg a day for 10 days. I hope it works as good this time.

It took around 9-10 days for me, and it made me have a worse than usual(cramping, etc) and heavier than usual AF.
