Question AF is here!!! A few questions...

Sorry if you have seen this post in other areas, not sure where to post...

YAY! After 4 long months, AF is finally here! My back ground...I have been on Met for 3 months, and did 5 days of Provera. AF came after 4 days of Provera being done. So 2 questions-

1) Is it normal that AF is just spotting for a day or 2 or should i have a heavier cycle (esp after not having one for 4 mos)

2) Started to chart my temps. Is it normal for someone with PCOS (or someone on Met/Provera combo) to have a lower temp than norm? All of the BBT charts I see start at 97. My temps for the last few days are 96.8. Is this normal or is my BBT thermometer broken???

The AF spotting is normal for me - everytime I would go on Provera, and I finally get AF, (and it IS after months of not having AF) the first couple of days are just spotting for me. Its just that you shouldnt count that as CD1 until its the first full day of flow.

As far as the temps go, I am not sure because I haven't temped in a long time. Hopefully someone else can answer that one for ya!

Good luck

Default BBT

My BBT chart starts at 96.6, so you're still on my chart I'm not sure how the meds or PCOS affect your temp, but I think that your temp is probably accurate and the thermometer is probably not broken.
