Ok so for the past 3 months I have been getting these HORRIBLE migraines during ovulation or when I am supposed to be Oing. Well now exactly 14 dpo, AF is due I woke up with a migraine! Does anyone else experience migraines at certain times in your cycle? Is there any special treatment for these kinds of migraines? Are these migraines related to hormonal imbalances?
Sorry I posted so many questions. But, I almost NEVER get migraines (maybe 1-2 per year) and for the past 3 months I have had AT LEAST one a month at that time...
migraines are very connected to hormones for many many women. i get pms migraines... some months just a reg headache other months HORRIBLE!! there are medicines for migraine relief but i hate taking them. some drs say take bcps but i am not wanting to do that. i honestly dont have any answers but just so you know many women get hormonal migraines and you arent alone xo jenn

I ALWAYS get a migraine exactly 2 days before AF comes (it helps me know she's coming). It lasts all day and is miserable. My OB/GYN once gave me an estrogen patch to wear for a day or two around that time to minimize the headaches. It didn't work too well for me, so I just deal with it. It's better some months than others. Some months I just cannot do anything on that day.
