I had really wacky periods my first year on met, although i realize now that my diet probably contributed...all thjose insulin spikes probably interfered with the Met. I had cycles up to 63 days a few times that year, interspersed with 30-something day cycles. I was willing to have less frequent periods as long as my free androgen was on it's way down. I knew once that lab got normalized, my periods would be normalized, and after 27 months on met, I have 30-34 day cycles like clockwork.
Have you considered natural progesterone cream instead of the provera? Provera isn't the same as progesterone, and natural cream has none of the side effects, so it would be my preference if I were without periods. Here is one opinion on Provera vs progesterone.
Provera is not progesterone: http://allonhealth.com/natural-proge...ogesterone.htm
