Ok I did a search and could't find anything or either that I am doing it wrong, becasue I thought I have seen this same issue on the board somewhere.
Anyway, I have been on my period for 2 months now, even took a whole packet of BC pills still, she won't go away! I am on my 3rd packet of BC pills and I am still going strong. I hate this too, so my question is what good would an D&C do? Would it even help?

It helped me. I had a period from 11/03-2/04. My doctor put me on the pill and it made my bleeding worse- I mean alot worse and finally after a bunch of visits he said that we could do a D&C and I agreed. I had a little bleeding the day after my D&C and then I stopped!!!!! I was so happy. Sometimes I wonder why men want to be OB's? When he would check me he would say, well the bleeding is not that bad or you said that there is a bunch- like gushing- and I finally said, ok look- you have a period for over 2 months and see how you like it, now either fix me or send me to someone who will- and that is when he said ok, lets set you up for a D&C! They had me come into outpatient surgery at the hospital 2 hours before the surgery and I had an IV and all the pre-surgery meds then they wheel ya back to the operating room and they put me to sleep and did the procedure. I was a little sore after but not bad at all. We left the hospital and went out to eat then to Wal-Mart!!! I would do it over and over and over again if it made me stop bleeding. I heard all about what they do from a friend that was a scrub tech in the OR in another town and man I was scared to death- but all in all it was not bad!

i have also been on my cycle for almost 2 months. it has started getting heavier where as before it was regular and steady. i got some birth control pills today, enough for 2 months to see if it will help me. they usually do but we will see. this is not fun. i have been on my cycle everyday so far. i can't get in a pool or anything. i'm tired of this!!!
I have been put to sleep ONE time and I was a nervous wreck! I don't like the fact of being put to sleep mostly the IV! OMG!! Can't do it seriously! I wish it would stop!!!!! I am cramping so bad right now I feel like I have been in labor for 2 hours (that is where my labor was having my DD) so I am a big baby go figure!

i hear ya. i never cramped until a few days ago. it seems like the more i wear tampons the more i cramp. i don't know why that is. it's not bad but i know it's there. the pills that i was given can't be taken until sunday. i don't think i will ever go without being on the pill again, which i hate. they kept my cycle regular and short.
Well ladies I have been put on a different BC pill much stronger than that last, the last was a very low dose, I was suppose to start it 5, 4, 3 etc, per day until I get to taking only one. Well after taking the first 5 yesterday I practically quit bleeding, I still wore a pad at night but got to sleep really good. Today my pad was not even soiled! Only when I wiped so I guess it's working. She gave me another pill to help my uterus contract? I am not sure what it's for but whatever it is working! That is what I wanted you all to know. Thanks for all the info. Now if I can get these faded cramps to go away I'll be fine, but trust me I can hang with a lil pain as long as "SHE" goes away!!!!!!!!

Did your Doctor give you any indication as to why you were bleeding?
I started having AF on 10th June - she has not fully arrived but I have had light bleeding ever since. It is worrying me but I only had bad night cramps for two of the nights - since then it's just like I'm trying to start my period
