Default AF...then no AF on NPC...what is going on?

    Hi ladies,

I started NPC and had AF on CD20 for a full seven days. Then I started the cream on CD5 and stopped on CD21 for seven days, no sign of AF and I am on CD34 now. I took a HPT and it was neg of course. I have been back on the cream for 6 days now. Has anyone else experience this? I do not "O" regularly on my own when should I be taking the cream? I wanted to try to calm my ovaries down for three-four months then reduce the days I take the NPC. Also, I have been having major cramps.

    Thanks,
    suzie

    Question

    C

I like you started NPC this past April and got AF soon after at the first of May. But since then I've been taking it twice daily every day except for 7 days per month when I stop it and I haven't got AF at all. I had AF in August after I had a Lap and D&C but that's it! So now it's been 5 MONTHS this week with NO AF!! So I am adding Soy Liciten and Saw Palmetto to my daily intake and this Sunday I am stopping NPC for 14 days then I'll resume. I am freaking out too cause I don't want uterine lining to thicken again to where I'll need another D&C (I've had 2 already)!! So if anything I do works I will post here and let you know and if you find out any helpful information please post or e-mail me at

It's just a thought, but, have you checked these two things?

    1. how much progesterone is in your cream? maybe you need to get a stonger cream...

    2. are you taking the right amount? I actually use a measuring spoon each time I use it. Mine says "1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon once or twice per day". I use 1/4 tsp twice per day... It maybe that you are just dipping your finger in and thinking you are applying enough, but you actually aren't...

Anyway.. i am also doing the 21 days on 7 days off for 3 months to heal my cysts.. and to give my poor little pitiful ovaries a break...

Thanks for your help! I actually see a herbalist who referred me to the NPC brand I'm taking stating that it was the best so it just has the ingrediance on the bottle and doesn't break it down into how much of each ingrediant there is. Also my NPC comes in a tube like pump which I hold down the button and cream comes out so it comes out on my skin in a straight line and I usually put on about 1/2 inch to an inch but I think I'll get my measureing spoon out tonight and see just how much that is. Thanks again for the tips!
