Question AF timing w/ BCP's

I'm curious. Since we're dealing with pcos is it normal for af to wait a few days after our last real pill before she stops by.

I'm a Sunday starter so my last pill before af is on a Saturday.

How soon she visits has vaired from one pill to another.

I know when I was on the ortho tri cyclen she didn't show up until Thursday. I was perfectly happy with only having to deal with her for about 3 days, but I was wondering if this was normal. It seemed a little weird that it took about 5 days of no pills for things to start up.

While I was on loestrin I would start on Sunday or Monday. I also had breakthrough bleeding though with the loestrin.

I'm on ortho cyclen now so we'll see how long it takes. Nothing yet though.

Just curious.

Thanks!!!

Default It's normal.....

I'm on Yasmin. My last pill is on Thursday and I don't usually get AF until the following Tuesday. When I was on Diane-35, I got AF on Monday. When I was on Alesse, it started Saturday. (I'm always a Friday starter.)

For me, it can vary by a day or so, but overall it's pretty consistent. Like you, I don't mind only having a 2-3 day visit!
