OK i know i posted on this subject a million times, but i have a question for all of you ladies who tried vitex. I have been taking it for a little over a month now, and after 9 months of not having AF, she did arrive..BUT its also been 13 days too, and it doesnt look like she is packing her bags and leaving yet!!! Did this happen to anyone? Also, i noticed that when i pee, i see little blood clots in the toilet. Is this normal??? My friend told me that they could be eggs...uhm, that didnt sound right, but she does not have PCOS and can be considered for the nickname Fertile Mertile.....If anyone has any thoughts on this, it would be really appreciated! Thanks alot!!!

Hello. I know what you are going through and it can be frustrating. I am 35 years old and have had problems all my life since 18. Sometimes I have AF only twice a year and when it comes I FLOOD and then I have HUGGGEEE blood clots. I have PCO and after years of going to numerous doctors who want to give you a BCP and send you on your way I am only now starting to have light on the subject. I read where any clots are not normal and should be checked out by a doctor. However, the doctor in my case says nothing is wrong. Who Knows?? I always associated the clots with Uterine Fibroids. I may be wrong but I am reading up on them. I don't think they could be eggs because I don't think you can see eggs with the naked eye.
Clotting can result from a long build up of the uterine lining due to not getting regular periods. It can also result from fibroids. I had huge clots with my fibroid. When the fibroid grows and the uterus expands, it interrupts the normal anti-clotting mechanism.
I have read several times that PCOS can interfere with normal clotting factors. Here is a blurb on it:
Elevated levels of insulin interfere with the normal clotting balance causing abnormal uterine blood flow.
Here's the link to that article. I have seen it mentioned in others, too:
