If you had asked me a few years ago I would have told you that I only use tampons but when I first discovered SC I read this post true or not ever since I have used pads.

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm just lounging around the house in some jammies, a pad is fine. I usually use Kotex ultra thin long. If I'm at work though, it's tampons. I just feel more comfortable when I'm very busy and I don't feel anything trying to gush out when I stand. When it's extra heavy, I'll usually use a pad with the tampon just to save my pants. It's no fun trying to round up a pair of pants at 1:00 in the morning when the patients are already driving you crazy. I usually use Tampax Pearl, but will occasionally use Playtex.

I use a combination between super plus tampons and regular depending on the month. I used pads until I was in like 10th grade and ever since tampons. I like Kotex best, for super plus but the regular have been redone and aren't as nice.

I used to use tampons until after I gave birth to my son (who is the oldest). After that I could never find the right place to put them and could always feel them, which I never did before. I tried different brands, sizes, styles, etc., but ended up with good old pads.
I use tampons BUT, I really like to use a product known as Instead it's an excellent product that protects even on my heaviest days. Check out the site. http://www.softcup.com

Interesting poll! I can't use tampons, I have an odd pelvic bone structure that makes them painful no matter how small they are. My mom has the same structure, which leads me to believe that I will probably have to have a C-section if I ever get pregnant, as she had to with my sister and I. Anyway, I used to use Kotex Ultra Thin Longs, was faithful to them for years, however they have changed them and they are no longer as good as they used to be. So...now I use Stayfree Ultra Thin Longs. No wings for me! They always seem to get unstuck and wind up sticking to my thigh! Owie!
