There is a product available here in the UK called bio-oil, i dunno if its available in the states, but its fantastic for skin imperfections, i use it on my dark patches, strech marks, and scars, and they have faded so much.

Ladies,

So far I'm on day 2 of using the Tri-Luma and I'm not really sure how to interpret the results. My skin is starting to flake around my mouth, so I am not sure if it's the Tri-Luma, the Glycolic Acid Cleanser or the Tazorac that I'm using is causing it.

But I'm commited to seeing this process through.

I believe Kat said that she experienced some flaking in another post I read.

So hopefully it will go away soon, but I want to see this process work.

So I'll be researching the side effects of this treatment so I can see if this is normal or not.

I just used a gentle cleanser, and tried not to 'rub' my skin. My moisturizer has a lot of squalane in it, so it's super 'moist'.

This is what I use: http://www.kiehls.com/_us/_en/face/u...oisturizer.htm

Yes, I had some flaking around my mouth and nose, but it didn't last long (Maybe about a week.)

Thanks Kat! I'm thinking of switching to Cetaphil which was originally recommended, but my dermatologist suggested the 10% Glycolic Acid Cleanser that I purchased from her office and my skin is really flaking and when I put on make up, it really shows!

The Tri-Luma website says not to put on moisturizer after putting it on at night, so is it safe for me to use moisturizer in the morning?

I forgot to mention that I shaved my chin the morning before I put tri-luma on at night..(I still don't have this hair growth under control), so I am wondering if that was a factor in irritating my skin?

Is it safe to shave when using Tri-Luma?

I use a cream with 2% hydroquinone, they sell it pretty much everywhere.I got some at wal mart. They also sell it at the little spanish convience stores. Its a cream and it has almost a light lemony scent. The most it could ever cost is 5 dollars but it works. It comes either in a tube or cream usually says skin lightener skin bleach, but you need to keep using or the spots will come back.Well i hope i helped ya out!

Hi, I'm pretty new here and jsut diagnosed with PCOS. However, I have had dark knees, elbows, and spots under my bottom, too....for years. And now that I have been diagnosed, it is amazing to me that I can look back and see some possible symptoms from awhile ago. I may try to get some of this cream, too. Thanks for the insight.

It says it's a cream for your face...I wonder if it would work on my legs? I have all these spots from that ingrown hair condition.

Has anyone tried Lustra? I was given samples of it by a dermatologist 2 years ago and I wish I can get some more. It works great and has 4% of hydroquinone. Spots disappear much faster than Ambi. It's expensive, but I think I'm going to buy some or get a script from a dermatologist here in Philly.
