Sounds like you are having a little hypo episode. A lot of cysters have blood sugar issues and suffer like this, especially after a high carb intake. You may need to be tested for blood sugar and insulin levels.

Default I remember that feeling!

WOW, do I know what you are talking about! It used to be that about 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours after EVERY meal I would crash... I'd get really tired, often felt sick to my stomach, my energy was just gone!

What fixed it for me was the metformin. The way it was explained to me in the IR Diet book was that after you eat you body starts producing insulin to handle the sugars and convert them to energy. People with IR, for example, thier cells don't absorb the insulin properly, sending the insulin away. Well, you still have HUGE amounts of sugar in your so your body produces more and more insulin, eventually the insulin starts being absorbed, except by that time you have SO MUCH of the insulin in you that as it seeps in your body crashes (it's like a diabetic giving themselves too much insulin all at once) some people can even go into a coma because of it.

I would definately suggest going to your doctor about it. My fix was changing my way of eating as well as metformin. I feel so much better, have energy again, I could go on and on about the things that have just disappeared since I started my new way of life on 3/2.

Best of luck to you!
Tammy

Thanks for the info guys. The funny thing is my normal doc said he tested me for IR, and said I was fine, but I'm looking for someone to actually treat my PCOS, the gyno I had that told me what I have didn't want to treat me only put me on the pill. Thanks for the response.
