It took a while for my periods to be totally regular on met too... ...and having been pregnant, your hormones were even more whacked out! (Congrats on your baby, by the way!)
Here is my AF schedule since I started metformin in August 2001:
2001: Oct 10, Nov 25, Dec 26
2002: Feb 28, April 8, May 10, July 14, Aug 17, Sept 19, Oct 22, Nov 22
2003: Jan 7, Feb 13 and Mar 18
So you can see I have the odd month where my body falters a little, but my doctors are happy that i'm more or less regular.
Also, have you had your free androgen, testosterone or fasting glucose tested? If these are going down, then your AF will resume a 'normal' course in due time.
