 After Provera, what next?
Where do I go from here?
1. Took Provera 3 yrs no problem and then had to come off of it because of severe weakness and chest pain/rapid heartbeat.
2. Just tried Met, even going as low as 250mg a day, and have such severe effects from it that I probably won't be taking it anymore. I had severe weakness, sore legs, headache, and dizziness all day. At night, my heart races, I feel like I'm going to pass out, and parts of my body tingle or go numb.
3. Drs didn't want to put me on BCP after my reaction to Provera. I am very overweight and have migraines, so that added to their concern over me taking BCP.
...So what can I do at this point? I feel like there are no more medications for me to try. I know it is unsafe for me to not have a period, and I haven't had one in 8 months. I've never had one on my own, and thought Provera was a miracle until September 06. This is just so depressing and scary. I just want to be normal! |
