Did I mention, ahhhh!! Im so sick of being sick. This morning I woke up nauseous, so I took my anti-nauseous meds (phrenegren). I ended up standing over the kitchen sink, vomitting. Im missing sooo much work and I had to take off again. This is just so stressful. Seriously, how am i supposed to work fulltime, if im vomitting and have diarrhea. I got my coritsol results back and they seem to be fine, my doc was at the hospital for the week, so I havent heard where to go from here. Can ibs cause vomitting? I know my doc suggested I might have IBS (which seems to come out more when im stressed), im just wondering if vomitting might be part of it. Also, i looked online that said hormonal issues could cause nausea- anyone else have this??
A little back story- i had my thyroid removed in june and have celiacs. Im currently on spironlactane, yasmin, synthroid (200). I have xanax and phenegren for occasional anxiety attacks and nausea. I also take otc meds, like pepto, immodium, gas ex.
aww,, sorry should have explained it. See where my name is - on top of my jug of lemonade?? Click on my name, i thnk it is the 2nd option that says pm. Hope this makes sence! i dont vomit with ibs, but i do sometimes vomit . hope this helps

I have IBS, too, and I do feel that since developing it I've had more nausea. I regularly visit an IBS forum (http://ibsgroup.org/groupee/forums) and by reading about what a lot of other people say, they have problems with it, too. I don't know if IBS causes it, or they're caused by the same thing, or what. But I think vomiting and IBS do go hand-on-hand for a lot of people.
I've missed so many classes because of my IBS. I got through one class today and I was so proud of myself! It's so unnerving that something so little as going to class can be SO BIG for someone with IBS. And today I went to the mall without going to the bathroom once. Again, it's SO BIG to me. Sigh. I feel your pain, basically.

IBS here too and have nausea and vomiting all the time. Stress really plays a role. When I'm not stressed, I'm not vomiting. My friend has Celiacs and I know that when she doesn't follow her diet, she gets sick also. So, it could be a couple things.
I hope you feel better. I missed so much work also and I stressed about it, which made things worse. Good luck.
