Question alcohol effects

I'm on met and i had about 4 drinks last night and woke up this morning to a very upset stomach and a headache that i never got before from 4 drinks. This is the most i've drank since i've been on met, mostly because i dont drink that much and becasue i'm kind of worried about drinking on met. I heard that its not good for you but i'm not exactly sure why. I asked my doctor if its ok to have alcohol and he said yes, but now i'm just even more confused to whether i'm putting myself in dange when i drink. I'm in college and i dont drink that much but i like to have some drinks on the weekend. Has anyone else experienced this after drinking and if anyone knows anything about alcohol and met i would really appreciate it....thanks.

hi
I am a student, and then it is al LOT og partys I drink alckohol, but I just eat Met in the morning, and drop Met in the evening when I have been drinking alckohol.. that usually works for me.. I dont feel sick or get more drunk. My doctor told me that Met an alckohol is only dangerous if you are a alckoholic or have lever/ kidney problem( one of them, not sure which).

Drinking a lot with Met isn't a good idea because both things can make you dehydrated which can lead to lactic acidosis and can be fatal. It's okay to drink a little as long as you stay hydrated (which means no buzz) and if you plan on getting drunk then skip your met that day and make sure you're back to non-stop water after the party is over. You should be okay as long as your liver and kidneys are in good shape and you don't do it very often.
