For anybody taking Alesse, do you find its helping with your acne if you have a problem with it? I've been on Alesse since Sept and it's been working, but lately I've been having bad breakouts again.

This pill made me break out and my skin was quite oily!

I had alot of problems while on Alesse. My skin got terrible and my blood pressure sky rocketed. I had to get off of them after only 6 weeks because of my blood pressure. My sister was on them and loved them. Her skin cleared but she also got pg on them. Hope you do good on them. Sometimes it takes a little while for your body to get to where the pills help with your skin. I never was on them long enough to find out.

I just recently restarted taking alesse. I was on it for about 2 years and then off for 6 months. I loved it. The low level of hormone didn't give me cramps like other pills. On Orthotricyclen(sp?) I had unbearable cramps. Alesse helped with my acne after a month or so, regulated my periods, and got rid of my mood swings. I really like it.

I had good skin results on ALesse- for about 3 months and then all hell broke loose. I got worse acne than without any BCP! Alot of other side effects actually got worse with time as well( headaches, nausea, leg cramps) and it stopped regulating my cycle. I was really sad and frustrated when I had to go off it but it's all trial and error. Grace
