Lightbulb All a bit quick!

Hi Gals…

I went to see my dietician a couple of weeks ago for my usual check up – nothing special.

Then out of the blue I get an appointment from my gynaecologist, which I went to yesterday. I haven’t seen him since last November.

Now I’m being sent to have a scan on my ovaries and blood test on Monday, this is all happening a bit quick for my liking – I thought I was doing fine and dandy.

However he did ask me lots of questions on

Fatigue
Brain Fogginess
Feeling agitated
Intestinal bloating
Sleepiness
Increased weight
Depression.

He has even given me a brochure on it all.

Now I’ve had these little buggers for around 15 years, so I’m no newbie to this problem, but this is the first time I have been treated like this. I’m a tad worried. This is why I’m probably posting on here, I usually lurk .

Ta

Isn’t it great that spring has arrived?

hi

welcome to sc I can understand you being a bit worried. In my experience anyway, (for what it's worth) I find each gyn/ endo a bit different. Maybe this one was just more caring (cant think of the right word) than the others.
Sorry for the ramble.

Hello Holly
Welcome, I am also very new. It is great to talk to other people who understand what is happening! I too have had the same happen, I haven't slept for 2 weeks, my scan was last week and I get the results on Thursday. I have had various blood tests and have been poked and prodded (is it 1 or 2 ds anyway). To date I haven't been supported at all by anyone at least the "professionals". Keep in touch. Natalie
