Wow, that's rough. I started met 6 days ago and although I haven't felt dizzy, I have felt VERY tired and sometimes disoriented and my mood has been all over the place. I am reassured though, that these symptoms will pass. I hope your doctor has good options and news for you, I would love to know what you find out.

I'm glad its not just me. I have felt dizzy too since I've started taking met. Every now and then the room spins. I've also been tired, so so soooo tired. Maybe my dizzy and tiredness is because my food consumption has gone down since taking met. I'm going to start taking vitamins, hopefully that will do the trick.

funny you should mention dizziness, I have been on met for 3 years and there have been days where i have been very light headed and dizzy, I know its not the best thing to do but when that happens I get myself some dark choclate or anything with sugar, if I'm not home, even regular soda works. Although yesterday at work I started feeling lightheaded and didn't realize it, my body went into shut down and when I got home, a co-worker drove me home, I ate some dark chocolate and felt better.

I thought I would update you, today is my 7th day on met and I'm actually feeling human. I am not sure if I am beginning to adjust or if I am getting the hang of eating small meals better. I am taking B12, Daily Vitamins, Folic Acid and Vitamin E. I am not sure if those are starting to help, but there does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel, so hang in there and good luck to you!

Dizziness is a sign of low blood sugar...eat small meals with some protien and carb every few hours and you'll likely feel better. It keeps your sugars more stable and avoids that dizzy feeling.

Hope it helps!
