Default Are all guys embarrassed?

My Dh is super embarrassed when it comes to having to go to the Dr and he gets crabby about it. We just found out that his little guys are a bit slow, so now he has to see a specialist. Why in the world does he have to be crabby at me? I wish he would understand what I have to go thru.

Keep positive thoughts because your mind is stronger at healing than any medication you can take. Believe in yourself to heal and you will start seeing a difference.

My husband is very used to going to the doctor, but going to the urologist really bothered him. I think men think they're "less of a man" if they have any reproductive issues. I don't think that it's that he wouldn't feel bad for what you're going through, he just feels like he's not doing his "job" if he can't get you pregnant. It's one of those things I put in the "it's a guy thing" category.

The same way it's hard for us women to hear that we may have a tough time getting pregnant, it's got to be hard for our guys to hear that it's hard for them to do their "part." It's quite the blow to the fragile male ego.

Try to be as understanding as you can. That doesn't mean you have to put up with really crabby for a long time, just know where he's coming from with it.

I totally understand how he can feel less as a man, but the going to the Dr part is when he gets crabby. I am very understanding and we talk about alot. I just wish that when it came to going to Dr appts he wouldn't get so crabby or embarrassed
