DH & I had planned on TTC for #3 soon. I had an aptmt with my RE booked for Dec to start TTC again. I took a test on Wed and got a BFP. I was in shock. Just because we did it without "help". I don't know if I'm 4 or 6 weeks though. But, if it is 6 weeks this baby will be due within 2 days of my last one. I phoned to book my prenatal aptmt and the receptionist pulled up my file and said "oh, you were just here..." I have an ultrasound booked for the end of the month, then I'll know more.

Thanks. I get to opt out of our weight loss group now. I wasn't really trying anyway, but as motivation we would all put $10 in a pot at the start of the month and who ever had lost the most by the end would get the pot. So, I was just loosing $ anyway.

Congrats Cora Lyne I'm so happy for you!!! DH and I have decided that if I'm not pregnant by the time Luca is 2 then we will be going back to the RE. I really hope it happens on it's own for us this time around.
Chloe - I'm glad things went well during the surgery! It's at least good to know what issues you may have when getting pregnant or during pregnancy so the Dr can know what to look out for. Once you get pregnant your Dr will probably keep a very close eye on you which means....you'll get to see your baby more for ultrasounds
I'm having my gallbladder taken out on Friday. I'm so nervous!!! The surgeon said the stones were caused by my pregnancy. He said it's very common. The baby sat too high and smushed my gallbladder causing it not to funtion properly. I just hope I'm doing the right thing by having it removed

Well, I went for my first ultrasound on Tuesday, but they want me to go back on Nov 10th because the heartbeat was slower than normal. They said that they see that sometimes but they want to make sure it gets better, plus as of Tuesday I was only 6 weeks, 3 days, so it was kind of early to see anything. Hopefully everything is OK.
So, funny story. I don't drink anything if we are going into the city. It is a 2 hr drive and I have a bladder the size of a pea. And, more always comes out than went in! So, they alway say go pee an hour before, then start drinking your water. I know what happens to me. I don't know why I forgot, but I did what they said and started drinking an hour before. I know I don't need to start untill 30 mins but like an idiot I forgot. So, 1/2 hour before the aptmt we are just getting into the city and I have to pee so bad I couldn't sit in my seat. I was holding myself off the seat with the hand grabber in the car gritting my teeth while we were spending an eternity at the stop light trying to get to a bathroom. I was absolutely dying! So, I let it all out and by the time I got to my aptmt I had to go again, but you can only go a little bit... do you know how hard it is to have to go so bad but stop before your done? Then, I wasn't as far along as they thought, and they couldn't get good pics from full bladder - so they needed to do the internal and guess what, you don't need a full bladder for that one, so all the pain was for nothing! And they will never know what you go through for them.

Hello all!
I've been reading these forums for quite a while now, and I had no idea that there was a Thread devoted to Witnesses...that's great! I just wanted to say hi to everyone, and introduce myself. My name is Nicki, and I'm 32 years old (been in the Truth my whole life). I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I have known for years that I had PCOS, but wasn't "officially" diagnosed until this year. Right now, I'm waiting for my husband to get his testing done to see if he has any fertility issues. If he doesn't, we have to decide whether or not I am going to try Clomid. I've always been so paranoid about having children in this system, so I really don't know what I want to do.
Anyway, that's my story for now. I will definitely start keeping up with all of your posts. It's so great to have some "sisters" that have the same problem as me!
Hi Nicki, nice to meet you. I agree, it is scarry to have kids in this system, and it took a long time for us to decide. But, I watched my SIL have kids way before me and it seems like they have grown up so fast and are starting to leave home already. It is such a big decision, but I don't regret it for an instant, the only thing is it really made me so much more determined not to just "float along" spiritually because we are entrusted with such a great responsability towards them.

That is very true...I'm sure that it makes you a lot more aware of your own spirituality. I guess I'm just a naturaly paranoid person...I have literally thought about every single thing that could possibly happen. My mother has also told me all my life that I shouldn't have kids in this system, so it's something that I will have to work out for myself I suppose. It's nice to have encouragement from others though!
