I figure that rather than happening upon each other we could get to know who's out there. However please review your KM's esp. 11/99, 7/00, 9/02.
This thread is also for anyone with questions about our beliefs, to either post them here or visit the official website of the worldwide organisation of Jehovah's Witnesses at www.watchtower.org
We are a united organisation throughout the world and so you'll find the same answers from anyone of us in any country
Ok almost lost this evening .... I worked hard on a meal for our family one handed, a hand that is even extremely hard for me to use. DH would rather eat something his mother fixed!!! I could kill him!

Well I did loss it ... tears and all. Had a good cry, made DH feel bad of which made me feel worse. Why is that always the case? Anyways all is well, I'm bored and tired, and it's only been a week and a half - two weeks with the cast on. Who knows what I will be like in another six weeks.

Wow, I cant believe I just stumbled upon this. I was recently diagnosed and the days since have been very hard for me. Its so hard not to stress out, not to curse my body for what its doing.
I have a bible study and attend meetings at Kingdom Hall, have been doing so for 2 years. I'm an ex-catholic and Jehovah came to me at a time when I was very depressed and wondering why are we alive for. I wasn't getting any help and answers from Catholicism, and when I began studying with a Jehovah's Witness, so much made sense to me. I KNOW this is the truth and the right way.
I'm terribly upset currently, to the point of being suicidal, and I keep praying to Jehovah to give me the strength to be pro-active. It really comforts me and the other thing is, I feel like my body has turned against me, and I know that this is Satan's system and we are imperfect, so it doesn't matter. If I din't have that, I'd be worse; thinking THIS was all there was to life. Its so great to know that the new system is near
LaDolceDita- Welcome to the thread! I'm sure you will love this group of sisters, they are wonderful I know how discouraging it can be to be dealing with something like PCOS. It's one of those things that affects you not only physically but also emotionally. We just have to do all we can to take care of ourselves, keep praying to Jehovah and try not to worry about things that are out of our control. One scripture that always helps me feel better is 1 Corinthians 10:13.. Just reminds me that if i am dealing with this it's because Jehovah knows i can handle it and if i feel like it's getting to be too much, then He gives me more strength to endure. It's not easy but like you said, we know all this is just temporary :hugs:
Marcie- Glad all is better now. 8 weeks with a cast, wow! i can imagine it's gonna be the longest 8 weeks for you. Hang in there!
I have such a bad headache, wish i could go home oh well, back to work. Have a good day sisters.

Welcome LaDolceDita!! I'm so glad you found us, Iris is right... you are doing the right thing by continuing to pray and keeping the "temporary" state of this system in mind. You also need to remember being a bible student that Satan will be putting extra pressure on you to stop studying, not that you're safe once you're baptised but as a student you're even more vulnerable as you adjust your life to meet Bible standards. Hang in there!!! Phillipians 4:6,7 is my favourite scripture and I've found it pull me through quite a few rough patches
Marcie, you poor thing! I hope this time passes quickly
I'm ridiculously tired!! DD#1 has had bad dreams the last couple of nights and not conveniently when I'm awake with DD#2 so my sleep is so broken, plus we had a big kids party yesterday (which was HEAPS of fun) but knocked the stuffing out of me and I'm sore today (just tired bone aching sore). Nevermind the sun is shining, the birds are singing, I'm alive and have been blessed with two beautiful girls and a loving caring husband. Thank you Jehovah!!

Well firstly i don't mind working holidays. They are just regular days for us and it really makes no difference being at work. But here is what my boss did, she wrote on the company planner that we were going to be closed this monday for columbus day. Didn't really told us we were gonna close but on the calendar we can all see it. Well my coworker still asked her yesterday to make sure we are going to be off, and her response was "i haven't quite decided". My coworker was like " oh well i saw it on the calendar and wanted to make sure" and boss responded "we'll see where we are then" .. meaning that she has a lot to do, so we all have to work. What gets to me is I wouldn't even know about it if it wasn't on the calender so why put it on there and get our hopes up? am I wrong to think that way??
Sorry, just needed to get off my chest.

I'm with you Iris, it seems as though she was going to close for the holiday but then has too much work so won't close so you all can help her out... communication saves a lot of trouble!!!!

Thanks Tusi, I'm very aware of Satans pressure and I look forward to the end of his system. It can be hard to make changes but I've done it well; I love what I'm doing. I am so grateful to have Jehovah in my life. Also when I attend Kingdom Hall meetings, the kind of people I meet, how warm, friendly and welcoming they all are, reminds me of what Jesus said; that the true Christians, his people, will be able to be recognized, and that is so true.
Hi just marking my spot. Welcome LaDolceDita, it is soo wonderful to hear that you are studying and hanging in there. It is soo hard at this time and satan knows just how to hurt us, I want kids sooo bad, but it seems to constantly be out of reach. Only by trusting in Jehovah and knowing that this system is only semi-permanent can we seem to have some form of comfort, although it doesnt make the pain go away.
Checking in, how is everyone? We went away for the weekend to visit family. Currently watching Finding Nemo and vegging out. Would you believe in little over a month DD#2 will be year old?!?! My mil has her crawling and pulling up. DD#1 is 'telling on' her all the time, 'momma Nessa's in the bathroom, momma Nessa's playing with my toys'! And let the fun begin, just wait until DD#2 starts to walk.
