How is everyone doing? Mom and I went shopping today for my niece. She will be finishing 1st grade in June so we are having a little party for her at the end of May. We bought her a little portable DVD player. Also we bought some pretty little dresses for her. I love shopping for little ones

I've decided to put some homemade natural baby and adult skincare products on my doula site, as well as selling belly casting kits. Any ideas as to what kind of skincare products I should make? I'd like them to be baby and mom friendly, so like diaper creme, belly oil/lotion, that kinda thing. I'd like a line for sensitive skin as well. DH (my dear graphic designer) is going to make my logos.
So how are you all? It was up near 80 here yesterday, but it;s cool again today...my feet are cold!

It's a supervisor position at a bank. I actually just talked to my supervisor about it. It's her position I would have applied for. However there are so many changes going on right now at my job that I don't think it's good timing for me to take a position like that. She understood. She is transferring to another branch and I'm probably going to be going with her since I'm trained to do her job and can help her when she's off. So I feel better now that I've decided to wait on that. After some time when things have calmed down here at work then maybe I will apply when it comes available again. She really wanted me to apply but thankfully she understands! The thing is is that we have 3 supervisors in my branch. All 3 have left in the last 2 weeks. I don't know what's going to be happening and I don't want to put me and DH in a position that may not work out for us.

DD #1 just woke up in tears, she is in so much pain. My heart is breaking, nothing I seem to do is soothing her. There has been something else we can do for her. I put some more anti-itch stuff on her hands and toes but it only last for so long and the cycle starts all over again.
I am going to call the Ped in the morning and ask what else can be done. I mean I don't want to push drugs, but I don't want her to be in pain either. There has to a happy median.
I'm sorry ... I know there other much worse off then us. I just hate, like any other parent, not being able to control the situation and stop the pain, etc.
So how is everyone else?

Today's the day everyone. I have my appt with the GYNO/fertility spec. DH is getting off early to go with me. It's actually my yearly visit today but we are going to lay things out on the table today. I want to know what's going on and what he thinks we need to do next. My appt is at 4:30 in Newport News so I will update you ladies when I get back.

omc, my sister had EXTREMLEY bad allergies when she was younger and she would scratch herself until she bled almost every night. Now that I'm older I cant imagine what my parents were going thru, so I can understand how it's making you feel. One thing that helped her though was when my mom put oatmel in a nylon and tyed it and put it in a luke warm bath with her and put cream on after that. They would do it everytime they were at their wits end...just a thought! Hope she gets to feeling better!
Holland, glad you feel good about what you chose to do job wise, I hate being in those kinds of situations!
