My Mood: Points: 1,935.90 Bank: 1.77 Total Points: 1,937.67 | steph - Orange! Yikes! ....What made my husband and I decide to take this step is that I'm just so ready to be a parent. I talked to him about adoption, and i looked online at childrens photos waiting to be adopted, and something felt right. I never had wanted to adopt before, at all. But when I came home the other day and found my husband doing tons of research on it and realized he was into it to...well, i was so excited. We both are. He wants to adopt siblings, but I'm not ready for that. I just want one, so I can learn how to be a parent first.
What makes me even more happy is all of the support my family, friends, and coworkers have given me/us. I didn't think anyone would be happy for us, but everyone is just so ecstatic.

I know I was kinda bloated at first when I was at the stage in my pregnancy that you're in and I was so excited. I was already out buying maternity clothes. Some women in the doctor's office were saying how awful looking mat. clothes are and I was like "HUH? I am so proud to wear them!"
Holland-YIKES! That happened to me but I did it to myself! I hope you call the salon!

It means a lot I'm sure to know that everyone is there for you. Please keep us posted on everything. I'm very courios when it comes to adoption because I know we might be going down that road one day.
Sadie - How's your little munchkin doing?
Helen - I hope your DH is feeling better! Hopefully you won't get any of it. How is the pioneering going?
Codi - How are things going with you?
I emailed Marcie the other day to see how's she's doing. She wanted me to say hello everyone. She's going to be having surgery in June on her arm that she broke back in the fall.
Mom had her surgery yesterday. She's in a lot of pain but is home healing now. Thankfully her friend is here helping out right now.

So she's probably very busy with that. She may be getting some things done before having surgery again. She was really down and out when she broke her arm last year!

My Mood: Points: 50,713.09 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 50,713.09 | Hey all-
Well Keira has to have a CT scan of her head/brain. Her head measures off the charts and so the pediatrician is concerned. It hurts me to have to put her through all that. She's right at the stage of seperation anxiety and to have to be taken into the xray room by total strangers w/out me being in there w/ her breaks my heart. She's so tender hearted. They have to do IV sedation too to keep her still. I'm worried and not looking forward to this. Tonight is meeting but after all this news I'm so upset and exhausted that I think I may just listen in. Please keep her in your thoughts....I'm really hoping she just has a big head and nothing more than that.

My Mood: Points: 8,686.79 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 8,686.79 | I'm gone for one weekend and I miss everything exciting! LOL!
Codi - Congrats! So excited for you.
Chole - Congrats on starting the process.
Holland - Glad you mom is doing well. Not too much longer before the RE visit. WhooHoo!
I don't remeber much of anything else.
Hi, Sisters!
I'm going to be breif. I have to do my Revelation book and just remembered that its goodie night.
We had a really good trip and got to eat lunch with my mother's CO. Which was nice b/c he is best friends with my CO. He and his wife were just so nice and really down to earth. Plus another one of my friends came and she is going on a special assignment from the branch to Nicaragua. I'm so excited for her. She had to learn Spanish for it and everything.
I just noticed that I never posted this message and I started it around 3pm and it's now close to 11pm. Hopefully I didn't miss any post in the meantime.
Erika

I know things like this that we have no control over are so scary. When Alisiya was born they thought that she had a problem w/ her heart and she had to undergo test and everything. But it turned out fine. The sedation part that Kiera has to undergo does make me a little uneasy, but you have to do what's best for her. (((((Hugs)))))

If you saw his baby pictures he has the biggest head of any baby you've ever seen LOL He was fine though. The dr did lots of testing and it came out that he just had a big head.
When does she have the test done?
Erika - We had goodie night last night as well Someone made the best strawberry short cake!!!

My Mood: Points: 22,581.01 Bank: 0.02 Total Points: 22,581.02 | Erika and Sadie~ Josiah's pediatrician did the same thing with all the testing when he was a newborn and up until he was about 6 months old...he thought something was wrong with his heart because his heart rate was very low. He didn't show any symptoms of ANY problems, but it was always low for his age. After a zillion EKG's, blood pressure tests on all four limbs, etc, it's been determined that this is just the way he is. He doesn't tire easily, doesn't get blue lips or hands or feet, doesn't get out of breath. He's completely healthy. Sometimes kids just aren't the "norm" but it doesn't mean they're unhealthy or that something serious is wrong.
Steph~ Holy monkey! Sorry about the orange hair! YIPES! Things with DH are going well. We're getting better, and we both have a sneaking suspicion that it has to do with the weather, so we're moving in late September. We already started our moving savings account yesterday. We're 1/3 of the way there!
Codi~ I'd say you probably just have a lot of bloating/water retention. But there is a vast difference lol. Congrats again!

My Mood: Points: 50,713.09 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 50,713.09 | Thanks ladies-her appointment is Monday at 9 a.m. eastern time. There's a softball game Sunday night w/ those in the hall and normally Keira goes to bed at 7 but I think I could stand to go and have the support as well as get it off my mind (if that's possible) so Keira will have to stay up past her bedtime. They said that if she stays still they won't have to sedate her but I highly doubt she'll do that. She can't sit still in MY lap let alone a table in a strange room w/ no one around.
Kerri-Glad things are getting better!
