Question Allergic reaction to Clomid???

Here's what happened...I took my Prometrium for the prescribed number of days. Last Friday I started my period. It was very light and kind of dark but I did have to wear a pad so I figured that was day one. I started my Clomid on Sunday. I was taking 100 mg per day. I took it Sunday and Monday. This afternoon I broke out in hives and had to go to the doctor and get an eppy shot. Nothing else is different. While at the doctor office I started cramping and when I got home, there was AF again. This time it is the normal color. I do not know if this AF will be the real(?) AF or what.

This is my question...If you take Clomid to early in the cycle can it give you an allergic reaction? I had no trouble last time on 50 mg per day.

Any feedback would be great!

An allergic reaction from a med wouldn't be dependent on the day you took it. Did your doctor say that you were definitely allergic to the Clomid? If not, I would ask for an allergy test(if they can actually do it). Here's a link on the Epinephrine, interesting side effects that may have had an effect on your bleeding. Sounds like you have some questions for you docs! Keep us updated on what you find out.
