Hi, I just started taking Metformin this week (500 mg - so far no bad effects although I've been tempting fate...) and also 2mg of Estrogen because my levels are really really dangerously low - according to my RE. I've had puffy eyes on and off for a while, but I thought that was due to my allergies, or the fact that I'm hypothyroid. My thyroid levels are all great, including antibodies, I am using eye drops and taking other meds for myallergies, but nothing seems to help.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with my drastically reduced hormone level...

It's probably your thyroid, since the allergy medication isn't working.
