Default 'Almost' AF?

Hi Ladies!!

I had the weirdest thing happen, and I'm curious if it's happened to anyone else. I figure, if there's someone who's been through this, I'd find her here!
Anyway, I stopped BCP back in Dec'08 and other than the withdrawal bleed and one time this spring on Provera, have had no AF at all on my own.
I've been on DCI for about 3 months now and Met for about 2 months. On Saturday, I started having cramps I almost didn't recognize since it had been so long, until they got stronger, and became unmistakable menstrual cramps. Woohoo! except...
After about a half day, they stopped. No more cramps, and no bleeding, and it's now 3 days later. I have a follow up with my RE in a week so I'll be asking her, but... Has this happened to anyone?

After being on Met for about a month and half, I noticed a slightly pinkish-tinted discharge that I think might have been almost a period, but AF never came. i've wondered this myself.

If you feel "off" for a while after those symptoms you might want to get your self checked for a uti. I'd never had a bladder infection before this fall. I had the infection for over a month because it just felt like cramps and I had a little spotting. Well not spotting as it turned out actually blood in my urinebut it seemed like spotting. It's not the classic pain/burns when you pee symptoms but I've found that some percentage of women experience uti's like this.
