Yep. Im in the same boat. They call it pre-diabetes these days. My doctor also diagnosed me with PCOS and prescribed me with Met and a glucose meter before the blood work results were even back. I know am much more conscious about what I eat and when I eat. I have cut out sodas with sugar completely, and have lost at least 20 pounds since December. If you are pre-diabetic, you are lucky. You still have a chance to prevent diabetes.
Me also, luckily I'm not now due to some weight loss and being on Met for a while, my levels have decreased rapidly and I'm no longer at risk so it can be banished, word hard x

I just got my lab results back yesterday, and while I'm on the higher end of normal (while on Met) I'm still "pre-diabetic". I got my lovely glucose monitor yesterday and have to check my levels 3 times a day. So far so good . . . they have all come back within the normal range.
You are so not alone.

The Met "sensitizes" your cells to glucose so they will work better. It also helps with the PCOS, so you are getting a double whammy there. Just cut out your sugared drinks, and be more conscious of what you put in your mouth and when you eat. If you are gonna splurge a little, it's better in the daytime when you are active and not going to bed in a few hours. It will also be interesting for you to see what you can eat in the evenings that won't shoot your sugar up. It's different for everyone. Make lunch your big meal, and dinner a lighter meal. You will probably see some pounds just fall off. Good luck, and let us know how you are doing!
ive been doing pretty good in my intake met makes me not soo hungry lol
i love it and i sleep good.. big UPS to MET!!!!!!
