Question Alternative Remedies to induce a period??

Hey ladies
I am looking into alternative remedies to induce a period.
I have not had one in....a long time! I do not tolerate provera at all
Have any of you achieved a period with natural herbs or remedies? If so what did you use and how often did you take it??

Thanks in advance

If you're asking what does npc stand for it stands for natural progesterone cream. Wasn't quite sure if you understood that. If you did, sorry...

I've used it and it works most of the time for me. I love it. Helps my symptoms quite a bit too.

Default try jamun or indian blackberry

Hi!
Jamum (indian blackberry) is very good for female reproductive system. I have been taking this and it helps me ovulate as well as my period. I have 30-35 day cycles because of this. You might try whole foods or any online stores for this. The fruit is widely available in India.

Not sure if you are still looking for someone, but I have found that don quai helps. I hadnt had a period in 3 months and was getting worried so i tried don quai and got it!! It was pretty heavy though but better than nothing. I even just got a period exactly 4 weeks after my last day, not sure if i ovulated though. But I think don quai and the other stuff ive been taking helped.

How do you know which ones you can take together? Should I call my dr? Would my doctor even know what all of these are??? Do you just try one type and see what happens or do you combine? I'm wanting to try something on top of my Metformin, but not sure what!

I have noticed an increased frequency in my periods since taking saw palmetto After my first month of taking it I got my first period in 1 year! Since then my periods have been about every other month. It has not helped me much with my other PCOS symptoms though.

shorteelaw, yes talk to your doctor. Make sure you do all the research on them as possible so in case he/she doesnt know what they are you can inform him on what they do. Your doctor might be impressed on the research you have done. I took don quai and sepia 6c together and got a period. Then I started taking cinnamon and saw palmetto, and a couple days before period should start i took don quai for 2 days and got a period! Some things you should not take together like metformin and cinnamon since they both help with IR, but i guess it depends on if you take a low dosage of each. Im not sure!
