Default Alternative remedies with met????

Hi ladies,

I am now taking 500mg of met in addition to Chromium GTF--200mg, CLA, alpha lipoic acid, L-glutamine, vitamin E and C and flax seed capsules...Is this all okay? Or should I drop some of these? BTW, I am also LC'ing...Fasting insulin was 15.4

Thanks in advance!

Hi

Is there any reason why your taking the chronium as well as the met?
I would of thought you only needed to take one or the other.

Chromium by itself only brought my insulin levels down to a point...9, to be exact. Which for me still wasn't low enough to induce AF. So I have stayed on the chromium and now added the met. Is that a bad thing?

Thanks...

This thread discusses Met and Chromium together.

I wasn't planning on taking Chromium with my Met, but have since changed my mind. I'm only taking a single dose of Chromium a day, instead of two. Met apparently doesn't lower blood sugar, and Chromium helps regulate insulin. I do recommend being monitored regularly, though. My RE sees me pretty frequently, so I'm feeling okay about this decision.

Check my sig to see what else I'm taking with 1500mg of Met.
