Default Alternative remedies for ttc?

HI,
I'm currently ttc but I'm not having any luck. I'v tried clomid for 3 cycles and only o'd once. I hated the way I felt when taking clomid. I'm seeing an Re and he's told me to lose 25 to 30lbs, put me on metformin and suggested I try injectibles. I hate the fact that I have to take all these drugs to get pregnant. So what I'v decided to do is to stick with the metformin and try to lose the weight to see if this will make me ovulate. If no o by January 2004 then I will move on to injectibles. Is their any natural remedy that could help me ovulate? lose weight? I'm kinda trying the Atkins diet but I feel really unhealthy on this diet. Any suggesting would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Julie

HIya

Lots of women have tried Vitex and ive read alot of posts on them getting pregnant, or at least O'ing on it...Maybe you should try that. I myself am taking 1000mg of vitex daily, and after 9 months of no AF in sight, she finally came after a month of taking the vitex!!! i got mine at GNC for under $10....Read some of the other posts as well...They may suggest other things as well.

GOOD LUCK AND BABY DUST STORMS TO ALL !!!

I just want to caution that Vitex is does not work for everybody. Several women here have seen negative results with it, myself included. It stopped my cycles, and took a long time to recover from.

My adivce to you would be to read through old posts, or search the board for your specific symptoms and see what has worked for others. Then search for that remedy and do your homework on it. Once you've decided that it is something that may work for you, give it a shot.

None of us can tell you what would be best for you to take. It really varies from person to person.
