I started on Provera 2x daily for 3 weeks starting on December 3rd for abnormal uterine bleeding. On 12/6 I stopped bleeding altogether, YAY!

12/22 I started spotting and then heavy bleeding started. I'm on day 9 of heavy bleeding and I'm wondering what can I do at this point.

The OBGYN seems to think if I get on a higher dosage of Levothyroxine and starting Glucophage my hormone levels will get on track and the constant bleeding will stop.

So my question is right now, till I get to see the doctor (since she won't up an existing dosage or start me on a new medication without seeing me), is there anything I can do to stop the bleeding for right now?

Update: Well it stopped on its own on day 10! yay!

*marks it on tracking calendar and waits for it to return shortly* lol
