Unhappy Am I crazy?

Hi it is me again.

On April 9 I had a hysteroscopy and a D&C done. When they were in there they found a polyp and some growth on my uterine walls. They removed it all and then put me on BCP to thicken me back up. All was fine and well when about 10 days later (yesterday) I started my "weird" bleeding again. Now if they scraped out my uterus where on earth can this "old" blood be coming from? I know that when the doc was doing the hysteroscopy he said that there was a lot of blood in my uterus that he needed to flush out, which he did.

Description of weird blood: It starts of light brown and mucous-like, then it will get really dark and has a "melted chocolate" look to it, and then I go to just a brown blood. Weird, yes I know. I will do this from about 7-9 days and it usually falls somewhere around my time of ovulation.

Now I know that I am not going crazy, or so I don't think that I am anyway. But doc says that this is hormonal. How can this be hormonal when I am bleeding so much?

Has anyone else had this problem before? I am just curious because I am on doc #14 for this same problem and all of them seem to be scratching their heads on this.

Thanks for listening.
Rach
