Post Am I just odd???

Diagnosed at 17(just) with Stein Leventhal/PCOS-Always been thin & tall (5'8" & 120-135lb my adult life) but have ALWAYS had excess hair & irregular periods & told I was infertile. I come from family of short sisters (3) & mother & grandmother all of whom are on heavy side.Don't exercise or watch my diet, although always on my feet at work. Had a miscarriage due to spontaneous pregnancy after coming off BCP's. No change in my symptoms afterwards. No real acne or hair loss as yet...touch wood.(Am now 37).Does this sound familiar to anyone??

No am on no meds at present. Was on meds for years but nothing for last 8yrs except BCP's. Hope to seek out new treatments soon. Am very interested in ovarian drilling procedure.I know it is new but I hate taking meds.I understand that with the right Dr results are quite good especially in thin cysters.

I was also diagnose when they called it Stein Levelthal. I am 5'8" and weigh 138 but don't consider myself overweight either. I haven't really ever had to diet but as a result of age or leftover pregnancy fat I do have a middle section now! It was difficult for me to conceive but used PRovera and Clomid faithfully until it worked for me. I am convinced I will not have a period on my own since it happens so very rarely. My skin is oilier and more broken out off the pill and I do have more hair than I should in places but not not some posts I've read here. All in all it seems to be pretty mild but the lack of periods makes me crazy and feel miserable so I take the pill. I just recently started looking into the IR information and am wondering if this may be a problem for me since I know I eat and crave carbs constantly. Since I'm not in dire straights my GYn. doesn't seem too interested in helping or changing much so here I sit on birth control pills. What have your doctors recommended? Have you noticed symptoms worsening with age?
