Default Am I miscarrying?

Hi everyone.

I'm pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage, but I wanted to get some information from you here to see what you think.

If I was pg I would be exactly 29 days today.

I was not ttc.

I am 26 y/o, 7 years pcos diagnosed. Presently taking estrogen 0.5mg/daily day 5 to 26 and progesterone 10mg/daily day 16 to 26.

Usually very careful about protection but had one instance of unprotected sex on day 11 with df.

Period is very regular on this medicinal regimen, started lastnight, 7pm, light, no cramps. By about midnight, I was having cramps but thought nothing of it until I changed my tampon at about 1am and found something weird on it.

The first thing I noticed was the colour. It was whitish with a couple of red spots in it that looked like taste buds (sorry, best comparison I can come up with). It was about 1 inch in length, 1/2 inch in width and tapered at one end with what looked like a small (1/8") dark red bean shaped thing on the tapered end.

Nothing white has ever come out of me. I usually have heavy periods with clotting but they are always red in colour and look like what happens when you have a nosebleed and it starts clotting.

I collected the specimin in a jar and brought it to the hospital with me this morning. They'll do tests or whatever it is they do (everything happened in Chinese, I think they said it'd be a biopsy) but it'll take a week for any results.

Can any ladies give me some insight? Is my women's intuition right?

I didn't take a pg test because I didn't know I was pregnant. The miscarriage (if that is indeed what it is) is happening at the same time that my period normally would. Also, from my understanding, a pg test wouldn't detect anything until a couple of days after a missed period, which hasn't happened.

I don't think that it could be a m/c, but I may be wrong. If you were indeed pg, you wouldn't have been far enough along for anything to have been big enough to have been seen by the naked eye.

When will you hear from the hospitol?

It doesn't sound like a m/c to me. pa1nter is right, if you were what you pass wouldn't have bee big enough to see. I m/c'd @ 8 weeks & I didn't see anything at all.

Good Luck!

With my m/c in Dec, I also passes something that looked similar, but I shrugged it off thinking I wasn't far enough along to be able to see anything. So I'll be interested in your results. My m/c was also the time I expected AF, but I had got 3 BFP the week before. when I took the 4th HPT, it came out negative and I started bleeding 2 days later.

With both of my m/c, I had awful, awful, awful cramping, where all I could do was lay in bed.

Please keep us updated,

Kim
