So today is CD 18 for me. I was beginning to lose hope for ovulation because my CBEFM keeps saying low and I've had negative OPKs. I tooke femara this cycle. However, my cervix has been high and open the last couple of days with minimal CM. This afternoon after I just sat down, I felt a few sharp twinge-like pains on my left lower side. Pains I've never had before, they were very intense, but very short. Then, suddenly they were gone. So I decided to go take an OPK. I had done my CBEFM this morning when I woke up and it said Low. Well, my OPK was positive. My temp also dropped a bit this am. Do you all think this is ovulation? I don't really have and CM still and I don't know why my CBEFM is saying low. Thanks

That is interesting--maybe try another OPK. I sometimes use two different brands. I think the best thing to do is just assume you are Oing and continue to track your temps and continue to use OPK until the temp rise. I have sometimes made the mistake of assuming that I have O'd and stopped BD and taking my temps--to learn later that I actually O'd after the day I had thought.

the same thing is actually happening to me with my CBEFM, im on CD16 and also on femara, this is my 4th round but 1st at 7.5mg, well on my last rounds of femara at 5mg i was getting high readings from cd14 and ovulating on cd18. This cycle im still getting lows. I dont know what is up with the monitor. I also feel the twinges in my ovaries. Ughhh
