Unhappy Am I Sick????

Hello....i have just been out shopping in town and i went into a Charity Shop. I saw there was a BRAND NEW baby sling for sale for £2 !!!!!!! It was such a bargain I bought it!! I am ttc and have no sign of falling pregnant soon, even thou I am on CD 15 today and bonking for England!! I was wondering if anyone else had bought any baby bits and bobs for themselves "JUST IN CASE" or am I just a sad, sick and twisted person???? I feel quite ashamed that I bought it even though I dont have a baby to put in it!!!! Please, someone reply to me and put my mind at ease!!!!

Hi!
I"m not ttc and I've never bought any baby clothes but I wanted to say you're not sick, sad and twisted. Please, put your mind at ease. That what you did seems normal to me. Don't give up hope. I'm sure one day you'll have a baby to put in it

You're not sick, you're optimistic!

I have a little starry babygro that I bought when I fell pg last year. I've kept it because I know one day a child of mine will wear it, I've not bought anything else because I can't go into baby shops these days, but if you are able to do that it's fine.

Talking Me too, me too!

You aren't weird or alone!

I have bought baby magazines for well over a year now - I can't resist them and they will come in handy as I'm going to be a Mom one day soon.

Don't beat yourself up about it - It's totally normal (unless I'm weird too )

Honey your not weird, sick or mad.

At present I have a pushchair and a carseat, plus bags and bags of other baby items from when I was pregnant last year. I keep them 'just in case'. Plus I am a great believer in sods law. The minute I sell them or give them all away I will get pregnant and have no money to buy new stuff!

It's when you find yourself spending lots of money (i.e 150 pounds on a travel system) rather than 2 pounds on a baby sling that you have to worry.

Email me if you wanna talk!
