I have started to get a regular AF
Ok this might have TMI so if u dont like TMI then turn away lol..
I went on the depo injection for a year , worked well got rid of my periods bar a little bit of spotting (sorry tmi) but it gave me the worse migarianes and helped me gain a few lbs (Which i so do not need the help as i am like 100 lbs over wieght anyway..
So i went off it in January
Last month i had a slimy blood looking disharge , so i thought start of AF this lasted for erm about 4 days and stopped , so light no pad needed (again sorry tmi)
And now 3 weeks later (8 days of a month) i am having the same sort of thing?
Is this the start of AF becoming regular. I have been having AF since i was 10 and now i am 16 and have NEVER had regular periods..
TIA
Sorry for tmi

Below is an excerpt from the Depo info. From reading this, I would say it is the discontinuation of the Depo. Are you taking any other hormonal birth control?
Going Off Depo The book Contraceptive Technology says: "It is not possible to discontinue Depo Provera immediately. Weight gain, depression, breast tenderness, allergic reactions, and menstrual irregularities may continue until Depo Provera is cleared from a woman's body, about 6 to 8 months after her last injection. After discontinuing Depo Provera, women may also have a 6 to 12 month delay in return of fertility." You might try cleansing techniques to detox or eliminate the synthetic hormone from where it is stored in your body's tissues: drink lots of water every day, eat lots of fresh raw organic vegetables, drink raw vegetable juice, sweat in a steam room or sauna, get lots of exercise and fresh air. You can also ask at a health food store about herbal formulas or teas that help detoxify your body or that balance female hormones, or talk with a naturopathic physician or herbalist. IF you decide to switch from Depo Provera to another hormonal method like the birth control pill, the vaginal ring, or the contraceptive patch, it is recommended that you start your new method on the date the next injection is due. Use a back-up method of contraception such as male condoms, female condoms, or abstinence for the first seven days of pill use.
Hope that helps!

I am not going to go on any other form of birth control . Because i dont want to wait ages for ttc , not saying i am ttc now but like in a good few years if im ready i dont want to then wait for BC to wear off if u know what i mean

Well most women including those with PCOS doesn't always have to wait ages. My mom went off and the following month she was pregnant with me.
If you are sexually active, I would highly suggest being on birth control of some form. As well as using condoms. I honestly would tell my daughter this; stay on the bcps or some form of birthcontrol. When your ready to start trying to get pregnant or are getting close to start trying, then go off the medication. 6months -1 year, honestly thats not that long if you look at it in the sense of preparing to get pregnant. IE getting healthy, eating right, preparing your money and being finacially set for a child.
If you aren't and are only using to get AF, there is provera or prometrium that work well for that.

I am not sexually active at the moment , and will use the appropiate protection if i am not ready ect, i just hate the thought of being on BCPS , i had a bad experiance with 4 forms of the pill in the past , some thing to do with an ingrediant common in the pill that affects my ibs badly

I've had a few horrible reactions to bcp's myself and can only take one, it's the only one that doesn't make me manic and go off the deepend.
( years ago they put me on micro estrogen, and i flipped out one night over one piece of paper. Mind you there was a million pieces of paper ever where and this one piece of paper set me off. Prior to that, i'd been up and down and backwards. Dh swears my head was spinning and i was spitting out pea soup it was so bad.)
So i completely understand the not wanting to be on bcp's forever. I'm currently (i'm 29, and childfree, and have no wishes to add to the 3 dh has.) continplating having my tubes tied to keep from getting pregnant. Just give me my provera and i'll be happy.

I am 37, and until a year ago it didn't mean a whole lot if I gave birth to my own child. Last year, we decided we wanted TTC. Now, I want to have my own child. I also do terrible with BCPs. I haven't taken them in over 17 years. I am nervous about taking Yasmin for the 3 months - just because of the mood swings.
Good luck!
