Default Am very interested in TTC with soy - any insights( x-post)

Hi! DH and i have been ttc a second child for 4 and a half years now and i am at my wits end. I had a miscarriage last december which was devastating (as most people would know) and i just really want to get pregnant again and was hoping to be preg before xmas but sadly it won't be the case. I am really interested in trying soy before i go on to clomid. I do have a few questions though.

1. Can i still take my metformin all throughout the cycle, even when i am on the soy?
2. What dosage do i take of soy and at what days?
3. Do i have to wait for AF to start soy? (metformin has seriously messed with my cycles and they can be 6 weeks plus!)
4. Is it more effective to take capsules or a soy drink?
5. Does any one get really bad side effect from taking it?

Thankyou

Yes, keep taking the met as directed.

2. What dosage do i take of soy and at what days?
It should be taken the way you would take clomid. I would start out at a low dose like 80mg per day from cycle days 5-9 (you can also do days 3-7, that is up to you)

3. Do i have to wait for AF to start soy? (metformin has seriously messed with my cycles and they can be 6 weeks plus!)
Many wait for af to start that way you have a starting point, but there have been some women who have gotten good results taking it mid cycle.

4. Is it more effective to take capsules or a soy drink?
Almost everyone who has posted about it takes the capsule, the powder is very hard to stomach.
5. Does any one get really bad side effect from taking it?
The worst side effect, beside being *****y, would be terrible headaches. I would reccomend taking them at nite.

Thankyou
