 Androgen Fluctuations while on Yasmin?
I have been on Yasmin since 05/06 (just about a year), and the first 10 months (up until this last March) things have been perfect. No side effects, no weight gain, no moodiness, no hair (scalp loss), reduced unwanted hair by, like, 80%. Loved this pill.
However, I don't know if it's because I've been a little stressed out this last month and a half or what, but I've noticed some regrowth of unwanted hair and I'm not sure why. The Yasmin seems to be working like it always has before, no cramping or weird bleeding, so I wonder if my being stressed has overtaken the pill's ability to be effective while I'm stressed. My androgen production was probably out of whack and now I'm dealing with some extra hair.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've only been on bcp's for barely a year, so I don't know if hair fluctuations are common or not.
I figure if yasmin wasn't going to work for me, it wouldn't have worked for 10 months and then all of a sudden stopped...
I dunno....any advice? |
