Default Angina and PCOS

Ok, so on another thread, we got to discussing if there is a connection between IR and angina...so I start searching and find several PCOS women who also have angina. Just wondering how many on here suffer from angina...

Default Simply speaking...

Angina is chest pain.
It can be a squeezing pain or a pressing feeling in the chest. This pain may come from blockages in the arteries that supply blood to the heart.
My husband has been diagnosed with it but I don't have it.

yup, it feels like someone has a fist around your heart and just squeezing it. It ranges from uncomfortable to painful. There's 5 or 6 different types of angina. Some are from blockage and heart disease. Some are from Oxygen restrictions. Some are muscle spasms.

I have never been diagnosed with angina, but I have been suffering for quite a few years with chest heaviness before AF.

I've taken 2 treadmill tests. The first one was normal, and the last one showed slightly elevated blood pressure.

I've been trying to research what causes this. One thing I noticed is that taking Demulen made it extremely bad to where I could do nothing but lie down and wait until it passed. This made me think it's related to my insulin and AF hormone levels, because I read that progestigens (sp) make IR worse.

I've mentioned this to all my doctors and they are at a loss for what's wrong. I've decided not to bring it up anymore lest they think I'm a hypchondriac or something.

So my search continues..
